Silver Medal in the Keg Session Lager category at SIBA Midlands Beer Awards 2023.
This is our take on a traditional Bavarian Helles. Malt forward, light and easy drinking, this straw-coloured 4.2% ABV lager is brewed with Pilsner and Munich malts and gently hopped with Hallertau Tradition hops. Matured for 30 days, unfiltered and unpasteurised, this is a very sessionable lager with plenty of flavour for its strength.
This is my favourite Braybrooke beer so far, the Summers Pils was a close second. Both more to my taste than the Keller Lager.
The summer pils is absolutely top notch. Really moorish taste and a great thirst quencher. I will be stocked up for the summer bbq season (and beyond).
We really enjoyed the Braybrooke Helles Lager. The best helles lager I’ve ever had outside of Germany by far. We will be buying much more!
Excellent lager but not quite as good as the Keller lager. If one is paying this sort of money, why not buy the best.
One of the best breweries going at the moment.
