This Modern Day Pilsner is our second collaboration with the legendary Cloudwater Brewery, who came down from Manchester to brew this special lager.

Showcasing a blend of German and American hops, we aimed to brew an easy-drinking beer that combines the classic German lager tradition with the hop-forward character of more modern US styles. We hopped with the German variety, Perle, which gives pleasant hints of grass, and combined with the American, TalusT, for a well-balanced combination of citrus and floral flavours with pine and resinous notes.

Thanks to the decoction mash method we use for all our lagers, the end result has a classically malty, bready backbone, leading into a refreshing and lingering hop bitterness.
